Russia's reserves may be less than previously thought - Germany's Defense Minister

German Minister of Defense Christina Lambrecht believes that Russia's military reserves may be smaller than it was thought. In a comment to Reuters, Lambrecht reported that the Russian military had suffered significant losses - both in troops and equipment. "The idea that Russian forces have virtually unlimited military means . . . It is not true," she added. Video Day Lambrecht said Russia needs to repair a large number of equipment and is difficult to gain enough new staff.

“It will be very interesting to see how large the reserves of the Russian Armed Forces are actually remained. I think they are much smaller than we probably thought at first, ”Lambrecht said. At the same time, the German minister urged not to be mistaken, because Russia is far from defeat and, as before, has different military options. Lambrecht added that Berlin is ready to support Kyiv in the long run.
