Putin is not crazy but mad. That is actually an irritant for the dictator in the war against Ukraine - Rachmanin

Russian dictator Vladimir Putin is quite logical, but only in his own reality, the People's Deputy Sergey Rakmanin, a member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on national security, defense and intelligence, is convinced. Rakhmanin shared this opinion in an interview with HB, commenting on the discussion of whether explosions in Crimea could become a special stimulus for Putin and provoke him for certain actions.

The video of the day "I said several times and is convinced of it: Putin is not crazy, Putin is mad. What is the difference? He is absolutely logical in his own reality. It is detached from reality, thinks completely different categories. He created an imaginary world and considers himself a messiah in this imaginary world, ”Rahmanin recalled.

According to him, even Western intelligence claims that Putin is absolutely sincerely believed: a war that takes place in the Ukrainian territory is not a war between Ukraine and Russia, but a war between Russia and the West. “And all his logic is very specific, but still the logic of his actions is subject to this idea. If, for example, the United States gave us the ATACMS rocket and we would use this rocket to fire, for example, the Saki airfield. It would be for Putin's call.

Not by itself a blow to the Crimea, but a blow that was put into American weapons, ”Rahmanin cited the example. He stressed that if Ukrainians had caused such a blow with the help of a sabotage or unmanned aircraft, which was launched from the occupied territory, or in any other way, it was not an irritant for Putin. "For him, it is an irritant to increase the quantity and quality of foreign aid to Ukraine, it is an additional stimulus for him," the People's Deputy is convinced.

That is why, Rakhmanin notes, a blow to the Crimea - for example, ATACMS with M142 or M270 - would be a significant stimulus for him. “I am now trying to calculate the logic of the event, it would be the stimulus that could lead to rigid unexpected or unpredictable or very unpleasant consequences. And the use of the remedies they have, it is believed that it will not be such a pathogen for Putin, it will survive it. For him, this is not the red line that will force him to some hard steps.
