New Era of Naval War: A blow to Sevastopol became a turning point in the military paradigm

The British Admiral Ben Ki noted that successful strikes of the Ukrainian military show what types of offensive capabilities and tactics should consider the Navy of the United Kingdom, and which threats should be defended. A few hours after Ukraine was destroyed in Sevastopol by a Russian submarine "Rostov-on-Don", the Admiral of the Navy of the United Kingdom Ben Ki proclaimed the offensive of a new era of the Marine War.

According to him, non -exquisage excess apparatus (USV) and automation led to a "turning point" in combat collisions at sea. This was reported on September 13 by Defense One. According to the British Admiral, the last epochal fracture occurred in the early 1900s, when with the advent of new armor, artillery and, considering the achievements in the field of power plants, the British and German Naval Command was forced to review their strategies.

"We have encountered something new again, with a change in the paradigm," Ki said, speaking at the DSEI arms exhibition in London. Particularly important for the British Navy called Ukraine strikes on the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation with the help of rockets and unmanned ships made by explosives. On the one hand, successful strikes of the Ukrainian military show the naval forces, what kinds of offensive opportunities and tactics they should be considered for themselves, said Ki.

On the other hand, the success of such attacks means that the Navy must review their defense strategies. "The United Kingdom should make sure that we will not be vulnerable to the same actions that Ukrainians have managed to take against the Russians," Ki stressed. Earlier it was reported that a rocket strike at the ship repair plant in Sevastopol on September 13 posed threatened to support the Fleet of the Russian Federation in combat readiness.
