According to energy, the only way to get out of energy crisis is the decentralization of electricity production in Ukraine. In recent months, Russia has been carrying out large rocket-a-porch attacks on Ukrainian thermal power plants, using its increasing advantage in weapons and delayed Western aid to Ukraine. About this April 11 writes The Wall Street Journal.

According to the publication, the Russian aggressor thus diverts the attention of the air defense systems from the front line and destroys not only the power system, but also the generation of electricity. According to experts, this is how the Russians bring Ukraine's air defense to a critical state, hoping that Ukraine will be forced to choose that it should be protected first.

On Thursday, April 11, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called Western partners and allies urgently assist Ukraine in the fight against rocket-arable blows, emphasizing that not long discussions or ignoring, but air defense and defense support. At the same time, he noted that if the current rates and intensity of shelling by Russian terrorists of cities and communities, as well as the facilities of energy infrastructure will be preserved, then Ukraine will end the air defense missiles.

He added that the country now needs 25 Patriot systems to protect its territory and the population. Recent shelling by the terrorist state partially impressed the largest hydroelectric power plant of Ukraine-Dniproges, several thermal power plants, in particular, destroying the fully Trypillya and Zmiiv TPP in the Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, respectively.

The White House spokesman, Edrienti Watson, has already called these terrorist attacks of Russia "a terrible reminder of the efforts of Vladimir Putin to break the spirit of the Ukrainian people and immerse him in the darkness," while urging the US Congress to unlock Kiev. Experts point out that the latest shelling is different from strokes on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine, which the Russian Federation caused at the end of 2022.

The main difference is that if the Russians attacked an electrical distribution network, now their efforts are aimed at generating facilities, which they destroy accurate and concentrated blows. Therefore, the current shelling, according to the definition of Ukrainian energy, have much more complex consequences.

At the same time, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation stated that such attacks by Russian aggressors are a response to attacks of Ukrainian UAVs in Russian oil refineries and airfields. The Russians managed to fail 80% of the generating capacity of such a large company as DTEK, which provides a fifth of the country's electricity.

Moreover, the elimination of destruction, according to CEO Maxim Timchenko, will cost twice as much as the elimination of damage caused in the first year of the war, which cost $ 110 million. The recovery will take at least 6 months.

Imports from European countries will help to cover the electricity shortage from European countries, but the power of the power system, according to the CEO of NEC "Ukrenergo" Vladimir Kudrytsky, is limited to 1700 megawatts of imported energy, and supply is not guaranteed.

So far, the only way to get out of energy crisis is decentralization of electricity production, emphasizes the director of the Research Center of Energy Industry Alexander Kharchenko, but to implement it it is necessary to close the sky. "Large power plants are a light purpose, and Ukraine's energy infrastructure goes back to Soviet times, which means that Russia knows exactly where it is located. ", - explains the energy.
