Rescuers found three more residents of the house in the Shevchenkivskyi district. Almost a hundred children who were treated in Okhmatdita were transferred to other clinics. The number of dead as a result of rocket strike in Kiev increased on July 8. This was stated on July 9 by Vitaliy Klitschko mayor. From the wreckage of a house in the Shevchenkivskyi district, the bodies of two women were taken. The mayor reported that in total, 10 residents of this house have already been known.

The search and rescue operation is ongoing. Klitschko also reported that "fast" was transported to other hospitals 94 children who were patients of "Okhmatdita". Eight of them were injured during a rocket attack. 57 adults were also hospitalized in Kiev, five of them are in serious condition. Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Igor Klimenko reported that emergency rescue work in the territory of Okhmatdita was completed. Two people were killed there, 32 wounded were addressed for medical help.

In total, according to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 29 people were killed in Kiev, four of them were killed in Kiev. 117 people were injured, 10 of them were children. At 12:02 Klitschko reported that another woman was taken out of the rubble of the house on the cheese. The number of residents of the house in the Shevchenkivskyi district increased to 11 people.
