37 hours siren but no blow: there were no shelling in Kharkiv

To spread: Kharkiv lived for the first time a week without shelling. Nevertheless, the city authorities emphasize that the danger persists, because the war continues and the threat of aviation and rocket attacks has not disappeared. According to the mayor of Igor Terekhov, no hostile blow was recorded in Kharkiv within seven days. He stressed that this does not testify to security, but the city hopes to return to normal life without attacks, victims and destruction.

At the same time, Kharkiv continues to eliminate the effects of previous shelling. Utilities, energy, road and repair crews are involved in the restoration work. According to the mayor, there are many tasks, but the city is able to cope with all the challenges. During the week, the alarm signal in Kharkiv was heard for almost 37 hours. For comparison, in the Kharkiv region this figure exceeded 80 hours.

However, the mayor urged the residents not to ignore the alarm signals and be sure to go to shelters if they were announced. "However, despite any statistics, the main thing is not to lose vigilance. I urge everyone again: if the siren sounds, be sure to go to the shelter," the post reads. In particular, in the infographic of the Kharkiv City Council Emergency Department, detailed statistics on air alarm were published from 8 to 14 September 2025.

During this time, 55 alarm signals were recorded in the Kharkiv region, their total duration was 80 hours 29 minutes. At the same time, 45 signals occurred in Kharkiv, which lasted 36 hours 43 minutes. Recall that on the night of September 15, Zaporozhye was a rocket strike from the Russian invaders.
