Ukraine has imposed sanctions on pro-Russian propagandists and companies that support the Russian military industry

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi signed two decrees on the implementation of the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine regarding the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures. The first decree concerns pro-Russian propagandists - 14 individuals who justify Russia's armed aggression and deny the occupation of Ukrainian territories and are financed by profits from the coal industry in the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas.

The second decree introduced sanctions against manufacturers and suppliers of Russian military equipment - 10 individuals and 31 legal entities - residents of Russia, China and Iran. Among them are companies and their managers and owners, which are connected with the supply of equipment and components to Russia to circumvent sanctions. Sanctions have also been applied to state bodies and legal entities of Iran that supplied military products to Russia.

Ukraine continues to work on the introduction of new sanctioning steps, synchronization of partner sanctions in Ukrainian jurisdiction and Ukrainian sanctions in partner jurisdictions. One of the key priorities of our country is preventing the supply of components to Russia for its military industry, reducing revenues from the sale of oil, fighting the shadow fleet and countering Russian propaganda. "Since the beginning of the year, we have synchronized 11 packages with our partners.
