In the Russian Federation allowed to send reservists to the front: in Defense Express told how many of them are

To extend: the Russian government has agreed by a bill that allows to attract persons from a mobilization reserve for tasks outside the territory of the Russian Federation during armed conflicts. Such involvement becomes possible without mobilization and in peace, not just in wartime. Thus, the conscription of reservists can be considered another mobilization that the Kremlin has not dare to officially announce from the fall of 2022, Defense Express writes.

"These changes apply to Russian reservists, persons who have concluded with the so -called Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation a contract for military service in the reserve. According to the available official statements, we are talking about an indicative number of reservists within up to 2 million people," the material reads.

Experts emphasized that the relevant bill, most likely, will quickly pass all the necessary votes in the Russian Parliament and will have strength in the short term: perhaps even in a couple of days. "This information should be perceived against the background of methodological conversations about the Kremlin's plans to mobilize in one form or another.

They also recalled that the so -called "partial mobilization" in 2022 touched 300 thousand people, which caused social tension in the Russian Federation. After that, the "partial" mobilization was replaced with "creeping", which provided for the involvement of a wider range of persons in signing a contract for cash. Defense Express analysts noted that the reservists should first call for military assemblies, and then involve them directly in the fighting.

"Will the Kremlin satisfy the need for cannon meat at the expense of reservists is unknown," the material reads. Finally, it is noted that in the Russian Federation the stay in the military reserve is paid in the range up to 6 thousand rubles (about $ 75) for ensign, sergeants and ordinary, as well as up to 10 thousand rubles (about $ 125) for officers. Administrative and criminal liability is provided for the failure to appear in the Russian Federation.
