Foreign judges and jurisdiction of Ukraine: Putin will judge a hybrid tribunal - the media

According to journalists who refer to sources in the EU, they can carry out a process on the basis of Ukraine's jurisdiction of Ukraine and international law with the involvement of judges from other countries in order to hold the crime against Ukraine in the EU crime against Ukraine. Representatives of Brussels and the Great Seven countries are inclined to be that the most realistic perspective of prosecuted in the crime of aggression against Ukraine through the so -called hybrid tribunal.

The high -ranking representative of the European Union announced this on April 21, Deutsche Welle reports. EU experts in international law believe that the international tribunal based on Ukrainian jurisdiction is most likely for this case. The EU representative said of a "political imperative", which is to hold the perpetrators responsible. According to him, it is important for the European Union that Kiev ratifies the Roman Statute.

At the end of last year, the European Commission initiated the creation of a special court to prosecute the crime of Russian aggression. EU representatives considered two possible options: an independent international tribunal and a "hybrid", which combines the jurisdiction of a particular country (Ukraine) and a process based on international law with judges from different countries. Crimes committed by the Russian Federation are investigated by Ukraine and another 14 EU countries.

The European Commission states that in any case, UN support will be needed. This is due to the fact that the responsibility for the crimes of aggression lies with the highest leadership of the Russian Federation, but because of international immunity they are not conscious. In order to hold a tribunal, it will be necessary to remove the immunity from the leadership of the aggressor country, in particular from the head of state, the head of government and the Foreign Ministry.
