Three people were injured as a result of an explosion that occurred in the powder shop of the former Elastic plant in the village of Lisene, Silov district, Ryazan region. All three of the victims were hospitalized after what happened. The explosion was heard in one of the workshops, where powder production was previously carried out. According to RIA Novosti, a representative of emergency services in conversation with journalists reported three victims during the explosion and fire.
According to him, the building of the powder shop of the plant is completely destroyed. The publication also reported 5 dead and 20 victims. It is noted that the legal entity of FGUP "Synthetic Fiber Plant" Elastik "was officially liquidated on July 29, 2025. The decision to terminate the activity of the enterprise was made by an arbitration court, the completion of the competitive proceedings dates from June 4, 2024.
