Two private houses, located two hundred meters apart, have become a place of cruel killings. In the first house, a father and son were killed, and in the second - three men and a woman. The attackers tried to burn home to replace the traces of crime. Police detained 37-year-old Igor Sofonov and 38-year-old Maxim Bochkaryov, who are suspected of murder, six hours after the corpse was found.
The media reported that both of the time of detention were served: Sophonov - for various crimes, and Bochkaryov - for violent crimes and robbery. Sophonov was known to be recruited by the Wagnets in the 2022 colony and sent to Ukraine to participate in hostilities. After returning from the war in the spring of 2023, witnesses claim that Sonov consumed a lot of alcohol.
According to the journalists of the publication, the Wagner PEC began to recruit prisoners and send them to the war after several failures of the Russian army in the territory of Ukraine. The PEC participants pledged to stay on the front year and under the threat of execution not to retreat and not to be captured. Those who survive half a year have promised release.
Estimates of the number of recruited ranges from 50 to 70 thousand fighters, and some of them have already received a pardon for their participation in hostilities. We will remind, in June it was reported that the mercenary of the PEC "Wagner" Dmitry Semiskin was captured in the Ukrainian military. He said that in the ranks of mercenaries there is a real chaos, which periodically leads to clashes and shooters between them.
