In an interview with CBS News, a democratic minority leader in the House of Representatives Hakim Jeffris said.

"We cannot allow Ukraine to fall, because if this happens, there is a significant probability that America will have to interfere with the conflict - not just with our money, but also with our military personnel," the politician said. According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin seeks to restore the Soviet Union to threaten NATO countries. At the same time, Jeffris recalled that at first Russia invaded Georgia, and then annexed Ukrainian Crimea.

"Do we have to believe that this kind of consistent aggression is that if we allow Vladimir Putin to succeed in Ukraine, he will only stop in Ukraine? Of course," the leader of the Democrats in the House of Representatives is convinced. Jeffris also added that the Propoutin faction is growing among the members of the Republican Party, which refuses to support Ukraine and for some reason is convinced that the Russian Federation is not an enemy of the United States.

He added that Marjor Taylor Green heads Russia's support in the US. French President Emmanuel Macron, after a conference to support Ukraine in Paris in Paris on February 26, stated that the Western partners of Ukraine would create a coalition for providing the Armed Forces of long -range weapons. He also added that in the future it is not necessary to reject the possibility of departure to Ukraine of the Western military.

At the same time, many NATO countries, commenting on Macron's statements, openly rejected the idea of sending troops to Ukraine.
