But the number of iPhone sold has decreased significantly: those who wanted to buy "apple products" reduced by almost 300 thousand people. As a result of the sale of the iPhone (parallel import, of course), the first quarter fell from 951 thousand to 677 thousand pieces. The decline in the popularity of the iPhone in Russia can be explained by many factors.

In particular, Apple constantly deletes Russian banking programs from the ARR Store and disables Apple Pay, and it is difficult to break into the app store again because of the too closed ecosystem of the store, unlike Android. In addition, according to analysts and surveys, the Russians do not like that in new Apple models have retained old chips and people do not quite understand why they should pay for devices where corporate functionality and services are blocked through sanctions.
