Poroshenko was supposed to meet with Orban, the Russian Federation wanted to use it against Ukraine - the SBU

Law enforcement officers say they have addressed the Presidential Office, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a proposal to take into account information about the enemy's plans when approving foreign business trips of Ukrainian delegations. After that, the Verkhovna Rada did not grant Poroshenko's business trip.

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) stated that the fifth President Petro Poroshenko planned a meeting with the pro -Russian prime minister of Hungary Viktor Orban. The Russian Federation planned to use this meeting in its IPSO. This was reported in the SBU press service. The SBU and the intelligence agencies of Ukraine received information on the preparation of provocations in the international arena by Russian special services against Ukraine.

"The main goal of the enemy is to reduce the support of foreign partners and try to split Ukrainian society from the inside," the message said. Law enforcement officers say that they have addressed the Presidential Office, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine with a proposal to take into account information about the plans of the enemy during the organization and approval of foreign business trips of Ukrainian delegations.

After that, the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada did not grant permission for Poroshenko's foreign business trip.

"According to the intelligence services of the Russian Federation, conducting a large-scale IPSO should lead to a change in moods in the partner countries of the anti-Russian coalition and will encourage representatives of the Ukrainian politicum to proclaim narratives on the need for negotiation with the Russian Federation on the conditions of freezing war," the law enforcement officers.

According to the SBU, the relevant statements were planned to be actively supported by the pro -Russian political forces of foreign countries. In addition, as reported by law enforcement officers, among the plans of the enemy was the involvement of individual Ukrainian politicians in the IPSO during their visit to third countries.

"According to counterintelligence, it is in this context that information on the planned meeting of the Chairman of the European Solidarity Petro Poroshenko with Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who systematically expresses the anti-Ukrainian position, is a" friend of Putin "and calls for sanctions from the Russian Federation. ", - the press service said.

The SBU emphasizes that this meeting (like other "working meetings" of domestic politicians with representatives of states who broadcast pro -Russian narratives) The enemy planned to use in his IPSO against Ukraine. It should be noted that on December 1, Petro Poroshenko announced that he failed to go abroad on a business trip, although he had an appropriate permission signed by Stefanchuk. At the border it was stopped by the staff of the SSSU and indicated that this permission had been canceled.

Subsequently, the screenshot of the document referenced by the border guards was published by the People's Deputy from the European Solidarity Party Alexei Goncharenko. The text states that it was issued two days before the incident on the border - November 29. The incidents with the cross section of the border, which occasionally occur with Poroshenko, were written in the spring of 2023.

In particular, he was only released from Ukraine on the third attempt - the politician was heading for the European People's Party. A similar situation happened before the invasion of the Russian Federation: in January 2022 it was not allowed to Brussels. We will remind, on November 30 it became known a document in which parliamentary factions and groups agreed that the next elections to the Council would take place after the war.
