The Russian president demands from Ukraine security guarantees for the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation. According to Putin, Russia will remain in a grain agreement if Kyiv "no longer use a humanitarian corridor for military purposes. " Russian President Vladimir Putin confirmed that the Ministry of Defense was instructed to resume participation in the Grain Agreement. About it reports the agency "RIA Novosti".

Putin claims that before that Kyiv allegedly used the humanitarian corridor for the task of blows on Russian ships. Therefore, the head of state-aggressor demands in Ukraine "security guarantees" for the Black Sea Fleet of the Russian Federation as part of the grain corridor. "We demanded from the Ukrainian side of assurances and guarantees that there will be nothing like this in the future that the humanitarian corridors will not be used for military purposes," Putin said.

He noted that Turkey took the role of the mediator in "clarifying the situation". "Russia reserves the right to withdraw from these agreements if these guarantees from Ukraine are violated," the Kremlin's head added. At the same time, Russia also promised not to interfere with the supply of grain from Ukraine to Turkey. Putin said that the Kremlin is ready to cover the cost of supplying grain to the poorest countries of the world, which they had to receive within the grain agreement.
