Ukraine needs missiles for SAMPT SAC, but the possibility of their delivery is limited - Le Figaro

This conclusion was reached by experts of the French edition of Le Figaro. According to the head of the General Staff of the French Army, General Pierre Shil, Ukrainians still demonstrate their strength and be in defense - this is their advantage today. However, he points out that the characteristic of current fighting is the systematic use of the Russian occupants of the booth throughout the front line.

"If it was only about the immediate balance of power, it would be in vain," the general admits. In addition, on the night of April 11, Russia released more than 40 rockets and 40 UAVs on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, the figures of the publication are given. And they add that even more than air defense systems today, Ukrainians need rockets that could reflect the attacks of Russian troops.

Le Figaro cites the words of President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky that the main task is to "make every effort to strengthen our air defense system. " Experts emphasize that Ukrainians need to help stay in 2024 and then in 2025 they will be able to restore the offensive. In this case, military observers remember the land system "Earth - air" of medium range (sampt). This system is also mentioned by Ukrainian military experts, because by characteristics it can be compared with the American Patriot.

Le Figaro reminds that France has launched this system in Romania to protect the sky of its ally by NATO. At the same time, experts believe that even with the pressure of the government, the leading European developer and manufacturer of MBDA missile systems will not be able to put an Aster 30, Franco-Italian missile "Earth-air" with vertical starting, in an acceptable amount in a short time. At the same time, France does not refuse that such missiles are needed and the French army, too.

Military experts believe that Ukraine should urgently review the methods of its struggle. According to US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin on April 10, it is better to attack tactical and operational goals that have an impact on the course of hostilities than to bomb Russian energy infrastructure. The White House, in particular the Pentagon, believe that Ukrainian strikes on the refinery do not affect the course of the war, but only threaten Ukraine's energy infrastructure.

The French military add that the one who is the first to mobilize. The lack of resources is recognized by the Commander of the Armed Forces in eastern Ukraine, General Yuri Sodol, who warns that the occupiers are 7-10 times more than the fighters of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. According to experts Le Figaro, in Ukrainian society there is a fatigue from war, although at stake - vital issues for the existence of the state.

"The seriousness of this moment cannot be overestimated: if we do not continue to support Ukraine, it can lose. At the moment, the artillery ratio will be one to five.
