The Russian invaders used 24 drones of Kamikadze on the night of May 5, from which defenders destroyed 23. On the night of May 5, Russian invaders for the next shelling of Ukraine launched more than 20 drones-Kamikadze Shahad. The defenders of the sky were able to destroy almost all hostile targets. This is discussed in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces. According to representatives of the military command, the Russians used 24 percussion drones to this night.

"At night, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine again by applying 24 Shaahed UAVs. The 23 of the UAV forces and air defense forces and means of the UAV was destroyed," the General Staff was informed. Meanwhile, the Air Force noted that the Ukrainian military destroyed enemy drones in three regions: Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Kharkiv. Air Forces Commander Major General Mykola Oleshchuk reported that the enemy had launched 24 shock UAVs "Shahd-131/136" from the northern and southern directions.

The launchers were made from Kursk region (RF) and Cape Chaud (temporarily occupied Crimea). "The enemy's air attack reflects the anti -aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of Defense Forces of Ukraine," the General statement said. On the evening of May 4, air alarm was announced in some of the regions of Ukraine. According to the Air Force command, shock drones-Kamikadze were recorded in part of the regions.

Meanwhile, in Kharkiv, at about the first night of May 5, explosions were heard due to Shahheda attack. One of the drones hit the private sector of the founding district of the city. Through shelling, 3 private homes broke out. Local media reported one man's injury. On May 4, it became known about four shelling of the Russian army of Kharkiv. Mayor Igor Terekhov noted that the enemy used various means of damage.
