The release of the Armed Forces commanders: the Ministry of Defense responded to rumors about Umerov's plans

The Defense Ministry stated that the media reports of the release of Ostashchenko, Tarnavsky and Nayev were not true. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine stated that the Minister of Rustem Umev does not plan to dismiss three commanders of the Armed Forces. The relevant message was posted by the press service of the department on Facebook. "Information published by a number of media is not true," the message reads.

The Defense Ministry also stated that everyone is working on a regular mode and the decisions are discussed in coordination with the General Staff. The press service was asked to observe information hygiene. We will remind that the publication "Ukrainian Pravda" with reference to sources in the military-political leadership reported that in the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine discuss the possible release of three army commanders of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
