Provision of weapons and realization of peace formula: Ukrainian delegation in Washington met with advisers on US National Security, Great Britain, Germany and France

During a visit to the United States as a part of the Ukrainian delegation, led by Viceremier-Minister-Ministry of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko, Presidential Head Andriy Yermak met with advisers on US national security, UK, Germany and France.

  From the Ukrainian side, the Minister of Defense of Rustem Umerov, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the USA Oksana Markarova, the deputy head of the Presidential Office Mykola Tochitsky and adviser to the head of the office of the head of state Dariya Zarivna took part.

  The US delegation was headed by the US Presidential Advisor Jake Sullivan, the United Kingdom, the National Security Advisor Timothy Barrow, Germany - Chancellor Advisor on Foreign Policy and Security Policy Jens Plotner, France - President Emmanuel Bonn's foreign policy adviser. The parties discussed efforts on the further strengthening of Ukrainian air defense and protection of the power system.

  The head of the Presidential Office stressed that it is critical to Ukraine as soon as possible to receive the necessary weapons and equipment.   “Our coordination and joint efforts are very important. We have already gone a long way and have done a lot. But now there is a special moment when it is necessary to make every effort to win Ukraine. It is important to use this point properly, ”Andrei Yermak stressed.

The head of the head of state noted that the advisers had taken a long way for the sake of the meeting and thanked for their joint work. The Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov spoke about the situation on the battlefield and the needs of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. The meeting also discussed the opportunities for joint production of weapons and the investment of allies in the defense-industrial complex of our country.
