Russian military crimes in Ukraine may not investigate: the US has released the chief coordinator - WP

To spread: US Presidential Administration Donald Trump has released a coordinator who was collecting intelligence on Russia's war crimes in Ukraine. The US authorities disrupt initiatives to bring Russian leaders and its allies to justice for crimes, the sources of The Washington Post (WP).

The post of coordinator at the office of the US National Intelligence Director was introduced by law, authored by a representative of the Chamber of Representatives, Democrat Jason Crow and exogressman Michael Voltz, and now - Trump Advisor on National Security. By March, Jonathan White was the coordinator. Before holding this position, he worked in the State Department and the National Security Council.

In a comment, the WP Crow stressed that the Russian Federation Coordinator should be held accountable for Russian President Vladimir Putin for crimes against Ukrainians. "This post has created a two -party Congress. The Trump administration should enable the coordinator to perform their duties as required by the law," the politician said.

Crow is convinced that if Trump and US National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard wants to achieve a sustainable peace in Ukraine, they will have to hold Putin accountable for crimes in Ukraine. Three current and former officials also reported the dissolution of the interagency working group headed by the released coordinator. Such actions show allies and enemies that the states have ceased to be a global mouthpiece of the rule of law, experts say.

"It is a very alarming departure from the United States's obligation to be held accountable for war crimes and aggression, especially in the most blond conflict that Europe has not seen since the Second World War," explained the former head of the US Department of Justice of the US Department of Justice. We will remind, Kosovo police detained three suspects of military crimes during an armed conflict, which lasted from 1998 to 1999.
