The President also drew attention to news reports about the alleged "surrounding" of Ukrainian troops, recalling the example of the Kursk operation. "Of course, there is a tense situation with enemies from all sides there. Do you remember the situation with the Kursk operation? Do you remember how it was all presented in the news? There were a lot of different things. They said then that we had 5 or 8 thousand people surrounded. But it was a lie," Zelenskyy stressed.
Separately, the president reacted to the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin about his intention to come to Pokrovsk. "Putin wants to come to Pokrovsk. Please. But everyone understands how everything will end," Zelenskyy said. We will remind that the last weeks in the Pokrovsky direction are marked by increased activity of Russian forces; Ukrainian commands have reported significant combat operations, but insist on monitoring the situation and continuity of defense.
