The man came under a mortar shelling and felt that he had a strong face and hands. Then he just found himself in the dark. Ukrainian defender, 36-year-old Alexander Yurchenko from Chernihiv miraculously survived during a mortar shelling. He lost his eyesight and blindly had to look for how to go out to a safe place. The history of the serviceman was told at the National Rehabilitation Center "Unbreakable".

Thus, during a full -scale invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, Alexander of Pryluky went to the front volunteer. In November 2023, he was seriously injured in the Kupyansk direction. It was a mortar shelling. Oleksandr remembers how he felt that he had cut his hands and face, and was blackening in his eyes. In order to survive, he had to get out of the shelling. The man literally went on the forest planting and miraculously came across the armor of his "his".

The brothers evacuated Alexander to one of the Kharkiv hospitals. According to him, he did not even ask the doctors, or would see again, because he immediately realized that his vision would not be able to return. "I am not out of those who seem. Life goes on," says Alexander. The defender is currently undergoing a course of rehabilitation in the "unbreakable" center and adapts to life in new circumstances.
