The Frankensteen of the Armed Forces is already able to shoot: a video from RBU-6000 on the MT-LB chassis appeared on the network

Experts noted that due to the lack of special compartments for the storage of ammunition, this installation has to recharge manually. However, this is problematic because the weight of one RGB-60 projectile is 113 kg. On social networks there were footage of Russian hybrid artillery installation, which is a system of RBU-6000 "tornado-2" maritime base installed on the track platform of the MT-LB armored personnel carrier. The published footage shows how the hybrid fires probably Bombs RGB-60.

This was reported by the Defense Blog Internet resource. The demonstration of the Frankenstein starting installation was conducted by the Artillery Division of the Nesky Armed Forces of the Russian Armed Forces. "Due to the lack of appropriate landing weapons and the probable surplus of the naval weapons, the starting installation of the RBU-6000, originally intended for pro-subsequent struggle, was re-profiled for land operations and installed on the MT-LB chassis," the observers write.

Experts noted that recharging of the installation is carried out by hand, which once again emphasizes the complexity of adaptation of maritime weapons for use on land. The fact is that these installations provide special compartments for storage of ammunition, but on the ground platforms of such compartments, of course, there is no need for manual reloading. It is also noted that each ammunition RGB-60 weighs 113 kilograms and requires manual movement.

This is not easy-for comparing artillery missiles for systems such as BM-21 "Grad", weigh about 66 kilograms and equally require the treatment of several people. Thus, the efficiency of Frankenstein fire, to put it mildly, in question. We will remind, one of the similar installations fighters of the Armed Forces have already been destroyed.
