Journalists emphasized that Kremlin officials have repeatedly threatened the UK with a direct attack because of its support of Ukraine. According to The Telegraph, British officials were instructed to update 20-year emergency strategies, as well as develop a new defense plan for the country, which will contain the protection of the Cabinet of Ministers and the Royal Family, as well as public broadcasting and accumulation of resources.

In particular, the new plan will envisage: in addition, the plan should give a clear answer to the question of what to do the premiere and the Cabinet of Ministers, how to manage the government in wartime, and when it is worth moving to the bunker on Down Street or outside London.

Military strategies for railway and road networks, courts, postal system and telephone lines should also be considered: "It is unlikely that the document will be made public for decades, if it will be made public at all," the authors of the material said. Officials are particularly concerned about gas terminals and five nuclear power plants. According to the government's assessment, they can release radioactive materials throughout the country and have serious consequences.

The defensive plan involves the division of Britain into 12 zones, each of whom will be managed by the Cabinet ministers, higher military officers, chief constibuts and judges with special powers. According to some scenarios, food and building materials will be stored and normalized.
