According to investigators, the man gathered information, in particular, about critical infrastructure in the provinces of Pomeranian and Kuya-Pomeranian Voivodeship, as well as about the activities of services and bodies responsible for security and handed it to the Russians. In Poland, the man stayed from January to March this year. The offender was detained in March. According to the investigation, a citizen of Ukraine was inclined to spy activity in Poland.

At the end of August, the prosecutor charged him with illegal activities in favor of Russian intelligence. The court appointed him one year of imprisonment.
