What professions will be the most in demand after the war: the State Employment Service answered

In the first half of the 2025th Department of Labor Analysis of the Labor Market Service, the greatest shortage of service and service workers, unskilled workers, the largest shortage of employers is currently being felt among specialists with specialists (drivers, seamstresses, electricity, locksmiths) and specialists. The Department states that after the war, the situation will not change dramatically.

The professions that will be in demand: the end of the war does not provide for rejection of a qualitatively staffed and trained army. The training will last longer, the requirements for candidates for many vacancies will be higher. According to preliminary forecasts, the most relevant will be the professions of a surgeon, cardiologist, rehabilitologist, physiotherapist, specialist of therapeutic massage. Almost all medical institutions will need staff.

The war and villages will need to be restored, so many people will need large -scale work. Welders, painters, carpenters, locksmiths, masons, plasters, carpenters, plumbers, welders and more will be required.

Ukraine's energy sector is one of the most affected as a result of the war, so infrastructure restoration will include a great need for professions such as engineers, technicians, electrical engineers, designers, developers, electrical engineers, electrochemicals, technologists, meteoenergy and many others. Court employees, prosecutors, police, security agencies and anti -corruption bodies will also need a significant impact of new forces in the profession.

All of them will protect the laws of Ukraine in the liberated territories and regions where hostilities are currently underway. In addition to digitalization of the economy, there will be a great need for information protection and personal data. Therefore, such specialists will be very in demand. Own production of goods needed by the military and joint projects with foreign partners will require a large number of engineers, scientists, economists and developers.

During the war, new transport routes have emerged, which in the future will become the main channels of supply of all necessary for the restoration of materials. Therefore, drivers, railways, dispatchers, logists and freight forwarders will need a lot. Participation in hostilities, constant shelling of peaceful cities, loss of relatives and loved ones, PTSD will not be painless for Ukrainians. All these psychological problems will need rehab.
