Artillery, mortar and UAV: The Ministry of Defense reported on the admission to the operation of new weapons

In January, 40 samples of weapons of both Ukrainian and Western development were admitted to the defense forces. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has allowed regular weapons: artillery, mortar and more. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Defense Lieutenant General Ivan Havrylyuk. In January, the Ministry of Defense allowed more than 40 units of weapons and military equipment of Ukrainian and Western production. The procedure is also called codification.

This means assigning a NATO nomenclature number, which allows you to buy it at the expense of the state budget from the manufacturer for the units of defense forces. Havrylyuk added that among 40 weapons are the British self-propelled artillery installation of 155 mm caliber, 120 mm self-propelled mortar of Polish production, as well as drones and eight new ammunition.

Two types of rescue parachutes of domestic production were also adopted for the defense forces, which will replace parachute rescue systems of Soviet production. It is worth noting that 155 mm of British production in the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces is AS90, and the Polish self-propelled mortar is RAK. However, the Defense Ministry did not call specific samples. Recall that in December, a Polish self -propelled mortar Rak was illuminated on an armed Armed Forces.
