Russian engineers say that the Su-30 fighter should go to the series with AL-41F-1C next year. The trials are supposedly ongoing. The main designer of the SU-30 project Oleg Pankov said that new AL-41F-1C engines will receive new aircraft. He stated this in an interview with the publication of the Ministry of Defense "Zvezda". In 2025, the Russian AL-31F-1C engines, which are used on Su-35 and Su-57 fighters, will receive the Su-30 aircraft.

According to Pankov, the fighter with new power plants is already being tested. As a result, the aircraft should improve its characteristics. "We will get increased speed, reversal radius and engine resource," Pankov said. It is known that AL-41F-1C is one of the most modern engines produced in the Russian airline industry. Previously, it was installed only on Su-35 and SU-57. In doing so, it is a modernization of the AL-41F engine, which is installed on the basic version of the SU-30.

The engine modernization made it 20% more powerful up to 15,000 kgf percentage. The work resource is also increased from 1 000 to 4,000. He retained a constructive scheme in the form of a double -circuit turbouoable driver with a fountling chamber and a regulated thrust vector. In total, AL-41F-1C-80% consists of new parts.

One of the greatest achievements was the integration of the digital automated engine control system and the plasma ignition system, which made the installation also economical and controlled. The last version of the Su-30 fighter is marked cm2. Modernization affected avionics, which was partially unified with the SU-35, as well as the integration of new weapons, including R-37M missiles.
