The exhibition of the Army-2024 forum in the Russian Federation presents a project of a jet percussion drone "Thunder" from Kronstadt, which carries managed aviation missiles. The apparatus could be created on the basis of the Soviet TU-141 "Strizh". The characteristics of the UAV were revealed by the Russian Gazeta portal.

According to the developers, Grim UAV is designed for 2000 kilograms of combat load and can carry various bombs and missiles with laser, satellite and television. It has a sub -rise and intra -fitting points of the suspension. The drone is positioned as a means of destroying air defense systems, as well as surface and coastal goals. In the Russian Federation, it is argued that "thunder" can act in the advanced attacking echelon, interacting closely with the aircraft.

Defense Express experts drew attention to the new Russian drone, noting its resemblance to the project of the Russian shock UAV BLA. As part of the mentioned project in the Russian Federation, they tried to turn a "rod" into a carrier of unmanaged aircraft, but the development was never implemented.

Analysts believe that the Korshun developers have not been able to explain the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation how they are going to resolve the issue of suspension of weapons on the TU-300 and further launch of this UAV. At the same time, the publication does not exclude that the TU-300 project could be used as a base for creating "thunder". According to experts of the portal, Grimm has questionable prospects.

The question raises the ratio of "value/efficiency" during the possible use of the Grim Reactive UAV during the war with Ukraine. In addition, Groma has a competitor in the form of a similar project-C-70 "Hunter".
