According to analysts, the British are experimenting with unmanned anti -tank weapons, such development is extremely relevant in a war in Ukraine. The British Army Experimental and Test Group (ETG, Experimentation and Trials Group) recently at a landfill at Salisbury-Plein conducted a test of land drone Kamikadze, designed to destroy the enemy tanks. About it reports the portal Army Recognition. For these tests, one of the mouth of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Yorkshire Regiment was involved.

The published photo shows that the Russian T-80BVM was probably used to test the ground anti-tank drone. It is reported that the development itself is not enough. It is argued that this ground drone-Kamikadze has sufficient patency to move different areas of the area, and that remote control and autonomous navigation can be used to go to the target. What mass of explosives this remote control unit can carry until it is opened.

Moreover, the British themselves emphasize that at this stage they test a demonstration technology that will "tell them" how they can connect tanks and all kinds of terrestrial drones on a modern battlefield, and after that they will only form a request for purchase certain remote control systems. Ukrainian Analysts from Defense Express say our defenders used land drones of Kamikadze against Russian invaders.

Therefore, at first glance, it may seem that there is really nothing new in the experiments described above. But it is important that the British military wants to translate their work on land drones-Kamikadze on a systemic basis and use such an approach as anti-tank weapons, which can be relevant to further strengthen the Armed Forces. Recall that Ukraine has offered its natural resources in exchange for help in the war with the Russian Federation.
