Russia wants to populate 5 million Russians in the occupied territories by 2030 - Andryushchenko

To spread: The Russian Federation plans to increase the population in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. By 2023, it is planned to settle at least 5 million Russians. This was reported by the Head of the Center for Occupation Study, former advisor to Mariupol Mayor Petro Andryushchenko in the Telegram. He said that in Rostov-on-Don there is a Forum "Integration-2025", which contains Russian officials and occupation administrations.

They expect to bring the number of people in the occupied territories (except Crimea) by 2030 to 10 million. "Today, the real number does not reach 5 million with a big advance and stretch. Where another 5 million will be taken+? That's right - they will be brought from Russia," Petro Andryushchenko wrote. According to the head of the Center, Gaulayter Mariupol tells about the return to the city 329 thousand Mariupol. Almost so many adults lived in the city in 2014.

At the same time, people who remain in the city are not taken into account, died or occupied. "Well, the final figure. How many apartments have already been declared to the court decision. 600 apartments. And they are going to increase it 5. 5 times. Here it would be to link it with 329 thousand returned (as if)," the head of the center added.

We will remind, in November 2024 the mayor of Mariupol Vadim Boychenko noted that at least 30% of Mariupol residents returned to the city occupied by the Russians due to the lack of their own housing and prospects. According to him, Ukrainians hoped to get compensation for the lost property, but the mechanism for the realization of this plan requires a lot of money. We will remind, in late September Russia began to prepare employees of occupation administrations.
