The International Office was launched in the Hague to investigate the invasion of the Russian Federation into the territory of Ukraine

Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin is convinced that Russia's punishment is inevitable. Law enforcement officers from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Romania will be involved in the Kremlin's prosecution. The International Center for Pursuing for Crime (ICPA) has begun in the Hague. On July 3, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin announced on social networks. "This is the beginning of the end of impunity for the crime of aggression.

From today, Ukrainian prosecutors will work in the Hague," he said. The historical step was joined by the Eurasian President Ladislav Hamran, European Commissioner for Justice Didy Rinders, Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court Karim Khan, US Prosecutor General Assistant Kenneneth Flight, Minister of Justice of the Netherlands Dylan Eshilgoz-Zhegerius. Representatives from Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland and Romania are already joined by ICPA work.

ICPA activities will be supported by a special prosecutor of the US Department of Justice on the crime of Jessica Kim Aggression. "ICPA is of particular importance for Ukraine - a clear signal that the world is united and unwavering to ensure the responsibility of the Russian regime for all its crimes: the crime of aggression, genocide and war crimes," Kostin said.

The Ukrainian Attorney General noted that there is a gap in the architecture of international criminal justice - in the question of responsibility for the crime of aggression. The official is convinced that ICPA will strengthen the legal mechanisms of banning aggression and strengthen this architecture. He thanked the partners and expressed the confidence that the world would restore justice.

"This means the inevitable punishment of the aggressor - Russia, which has solved the bloodiest war in Europe and continues to violate international law and human rights daily," Kostin explained. The special representative of the Pope Francis Francis Cardinal Matteo Dzuppi met in Russia with Maria Lviv-Belova, whose arrest warrant was previously issued by the International Criminal Court in the Hague. They discussed the protection of children's rights.
