In the Russian Federation are tested a tactical drone with the original Trump name (photo)

The developers claim that the "transport aviation multi -purpose platform" is designed to transfer goods over long distances - more than 600 km. The load capacity of the apparatus is allegedly 250 kg. The Russian engineers of the defense complex have introduced the latest tactical transport unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Trump, designed to perform a wide range of tasks in the conditions of modern theaters of war (TVD).

The device has already passed the stage of projection and began ground tests, and the first flight is scheduled for April. This was reported on January 13 by ARMY RECOGNITS, citing Russian sources. The authors of the publication drew attention to the original name, which is an abbreviation from the "transport aviation multi -purpose platform".

Current Trump tests are focused on its control systems and mechanisms, with engineers conduct a series of ground tests without takeoff to confirm the settlement parameters. Trump is designed to throw goods over long distances, while the developers claim that the drone has the following characteristics: the features of the device include the shutter of the freight compartment, which are opened down, which allows it to be used for shock load suspension.

One of the key features of Dron Trump is a modular design that simplifies the service and repair in the field. The main units, such as wings, engine and chassis, can be replaced in place - this solution greatly expands the operational capabilities of the device. Another feature was the enhanced chassis with large diameter pneumatics for take -off and planting on short, poorly prepared platforms, as well as a built -in rescue system of cargo and the device itself.

Views note that the drone can be used as a vehicle to facilitate logistics in inaccessible TBD areas, as well as as a relaying and a carrier of low-size FPV-punks. We will remind, in December 2024 Ukrainian sources reported that Russia began to equip its shock drones "Shahaned-136" elements of artificial intelligence.
