Above the two -storey castle, which Mikei Allen's veteran built on the slope of the mountain, proudly fluttering the flag of his country, but now he needs to convince the City Council so that the fortress is not demolished. 43-year-old Mikey Allen built an amazing two-storey castle in Wales to help himself cope with post-traumatic stress disorder, but now the planning advice says that he needs to be demolished. The Mirror writes about it.

Now the man should try to persuade the City Council not to destroy the fortress he built, because the amazing building has become a place of pilgrimage of people with mental disorders who are looking for asylum in it, as once he himself. Since the construction of the castle, about 10,000 vulnerable people have been visited, but it did not melt the hearts of planners who believe that the fortress should be demolished.

The local authorities have stated that it violated the planning rules, since permission was required for agricultural land construction. However, 43-year-old Mikey, who began to build a castle 5 years ago on farm lands, was not homeless. "We have already challenged some points that the Council has put forward. People help me to keep in touch with the Council. We agree that we can demolish it but we want to leave it. There may be school to another level.

After service in Afghanistan in 2012, as part of the 2nd Battalion of the Royal Welsh Army, along with the Afghan police, his mental health swayed. Leaving the armed forces with a back injury of 2015, it was covered by post -traumatic stress disorder and wanted to die. After he survived, it was difficult for him to integrate into society and a world that he could no longer comprehend after the horror he was witnessed, so he went to live in the midst of wildlife in 2017.

He began to build an isolated shelter near the place where the castle is now located, drank from a public crane and bought food at a supermarket at low prices. In 2018, his hut was demolished because it was located on Earth, owned by Wales natural resources. But the owners of the neighboring farm, who saw his night campfires, offered him a caravan, in which he could stop, and the freedom to build on their land what he wants.

Although he can no longer build his castle, Mikey is still accepting visitors. Many of them are former servicemen and women, as well as those who fight other aspects of life. Despite all the efforts he put in the castle, he does not consider him his. "It's rather a public castle than mine. It's a place where everyone comes when they want. A variety of people came here - from teenagers to people for 70," he added.

Mikey intends to fight for the rescue of the castle from demolition, because for many it is a fortress of security. Earlier, Focus reported that the "most expensive garage" was set for a round amount. The premises that had previously been home for years, because it cost much more than some apartments. It was also known that the usual home is a concern for people through a glass bathroom.
