The Verkhovna Rada will continue martial law and mobilization in Ukraine: People's Deputy revealed details

According to Yaroslav Zheleznyak, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will submit two laws that Parliament will approve in the coming days. The Verkhovna Rada plans to extend the duration of martial law and general mobilization in Ukraine. People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak told about it in his Telegram-channel. According to him, in the near future President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will introduce two laws to Parliament, and the Verkhovna Rada should vote for them next week.

The decisions will extend the duration of martial law and mobilization after February 19, probably for 90 days, ie until May 20. Yaroslav Zheleznyak noted that the Verkhovna Rada will vote for the continuation of the martial law since the beginning of a full -scale invasion of Russia. Before that, the people's deputies have already made similar decisions on February 24, March 15, April 21, August 15 and November 16.

In early January, the government released a resolution on new military accounting rules in Ukraine. The process was decided to update and digitize to make it easier to call citizens to the army. There are rumors that the summons will begin with the help of "Action". The resolution also states that within the mobilization they will return to conscripted Ukrainians from abroad.

Lawyers claim that according to the current laws, foreign agencies cannot hand over summary to citizens of Ukraine, so it is unclear how the Cabinet plans to return reservists. At the end of January, information appeared that Russia's authorities would launch a new wave of mobilization. According to British intelligence, President Vladimir Putin's decree on the call of the Russians continues to operate, and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation should be completed for large offensive units.
