"Undress to linen": Russian propaganda accelerates a new fake about Polish border guards

To spread: a number of Russian Telegram channels spread information that Ukrainian citizens are allegedly humiliated at checkpoints with Poland. In particular, they report that Ukrainians are selectively checking for the presence of symbols and paraphernalia of the OUN-UPA, forcing them to undress in underwear and demand to unlock phones for checking. However, this information is not true, the Center for Combating Misinformation reports.

The CPD posted a picture of an information stand, illustrating this "news" of propagandists, which lists all the options for checking on the border, and in the word undress a mistake - "bend" instead of "undress". A picture of a real information border on the Ukrainian-Polish border is located nearby, which is not at all like the one that accelerates the propaganda of the Russian Federation.

According to the Lviv Border Detachment, these reports are another example of Russian information attacks aimed at undermining Ukrainian-Polish relations. "Images of information stands distributed by hostile TG channels have been changed with graphic editors. In addition, they contain many Russisms, spelling and punctuation errors, which is a typical sign of fake," the center emphasized.

Earlier, Focus wrote that President of Poland Karol Navrotsky suggested equating the symbolism of the UPA to Nazi symbols. The relevant item was submitted to the new bill submitted to the Seimas. In addition, the politician proposed to amend the Law on the Institute of National Memory-a commission to persecute crimes against the Polish people in the part concerning the OUN-UPA crimes. We also reported that the Russian media have invented the losses of the Armed Forces in 1. 7 million people.
