France and Germany decided to reform the EU and the Russian Federation: which provides a secret document

The strategy proposes to strengthen Europe's defense and support the Kremlin opponents. The document was developed by German Foreign Ministry Annalen Berb and her French colleague Catherine Kolonna. Foreign Minister Annalen Berbok has developed a strategy for reforming relations between the European Union and Russia - it has a call to support Ukraine and the Kremlin opponents. The document was developed in conjunction with the Foreign Minister of France Katrin Kolonna.

About Wednesday, August 31, Süddeutsche Zeitung reports with reference to the German print agency (DPA). On Wednesday, Berbok stated that in the relations of the Russian Federation and Europe, after a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there is no more return path, which requires a "strategic reorientation" of policy on the aggressor state.

The strategy contains four main points: the document was sent to the authorities of other EU Member States as a proposal for discussion at an informal meeting of EU foreign ministers in Prague on Tuesday, August 30. "In order to prevent future aggression, Russia's war against Ukraine must be strategic failure," the secret document reads. The strategy states that the price of support for Europe of Ukraine will increase, but it will increase security in the region in the long run.

Journalists recalled that the last revision of relations with Russia in the EU took place in 2016. Then the Bloc agreed the principles of commitment to selective cooperation with the aggressor state in areas such as the Middle East, the fight against terrorism and climate change. Also then, EU countries agreed to support civil society in the Russian Federation.
