Obad drum drone will destroy any M80 rockets: Explore Characteristics (Video)

The drone flies at only 45 km/h, carries four anti -tank missiles and can work offline. In Serbia at the local exhibition "Partner 2023" presents OBAD drone, which can conduct intelligence or destroy equipment with rockets. About it reports Army Recognition. The nearby quadcopter is designed to defeat both stationary and mobile goals, including armored and unnecessary equipment, as well as troops. One of the features of OBAD is his operating flexibility.

The drone can be manually controlled or programmed for autonomous work. This was made possible by the advanced avionic and accurate systems of global navigation satellites (GNS), which provide a high level of accuracy and reliability, engineers say. The optical module allows to perform intelligence tasks day and night, as well as to identify and strike the goals of the enemy.

The drone is also capable of integrating a multi -purpose load that allows you to place different equipment for a specific mission on board. OBAD is driven by eight -free DC (BLDC) with a total output capacity of 68. 8 kW. The drone uses composite two -bladed screws of the opposite rotation, its working weight is 120 kg. The drone can carry a lotal load up to 40 kg. As for speed and height, the OBAD can move at a speed of 45 km/h and operate at an altitude of 500 meters above ground level.

The duration of the drone is 15 to 20 minutes, and the flight range exceeds 5 km. Its capabilities of vertical take-off and planting mean that it can be deployed from almost any place, providing a tactical advantage in various combat scenarios. OBAD is equipped with a remote control module (RCWS), which houses four anti-tank unmanaged missiles, including 64 mm RBR M80, with a range of 400 meters.

For the guidance and control of the drone is equipped with a daylight camera with 30 times optical zoom. Additionally, there is a 4-fold digital heat chamber and a laser rangefinder with a range of up to 5 km. All these functions can be controlled remotely, which adds another level of operational flexibility. Earlier, Focus said that in Iran came up a new way of launching the drones of Shahd-136.
