How to save the Ukrainian army: about a simple mechanism of combating the SZH

The Prosecutor General's Office usually publishes the figures of crime registrations for the previous month by the 7th of each month, including desertion and voluntary abandonment of a military unit. This, at first glance, is a small event. But it concerns the MAIN problem of Ukraine - the issue of recruiting people into the army. Let me remind you that in September this number exceeded a staggering 19 thousand. And this is a picture distorted by the lens of officialdom - in fact, it is even worse.

The lion's share of SZH occurs due to the fact that the fighter cannot be transferred to another military unit where the commanders need him. At one time, even the practice of "transfer through the SZH" was acquired - a sad diagnosis of our legal system. So, what I PROPOSAL: when the next statistics about this deadly process for our country come out, together we will ask the responsible persons to improve the situation with transfers. I offer a light version.

I believe that if a person has performed combat tasks for more than 1 year, then he has a full right to be transferred to another combat unit - provided that they are ready to accept him there, in a new place. Currently, such a translation is theoretically possible, but extremely complicated, which leads to SZH. So you need to make it automatic, at the "Army+" level. For today's soldiers, war is forever, the predicted end of war is beyond the horizon of their lives.

Therefore, they must morally serve where they want to be seen and where the commanders appreciate them - and therefore, where the units will fight more effectively with their participation. It is the efficiency of the units that is our goal. If units become weak, then they should be joined to strong ones, and not try to keep them afloat at any cost - because this price is measured in lives. Think about what is happening.

There are some units that are super efficient, suffer from a lack of personnel, cannot develop as quickly as they could. There are others who look like swamps, with military capability on paper, but in real life they only drag the resources of the state. The proposed mechanism will allow to push the processes of recovery in the army, will allow those who want to fight, and not serve, to fight. I believe that every quick transfer is a potentially saved person from SZH.
