In Sumy region, almost 300 children from two communities are forcibly evacuated by Russian attacks

Representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration and Coordination Staff emphasize that the evacuation is free. On April 5, the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine announced a compulsory evacuation of children from 52 settlements of two communities of Sumy region. This is stated in a message on the official website of the Ministry.

As noted in the release, this decision is conditioned by the security situation and agreed with the coordination headquarters on compulsory evacuation of the population in the context of martial law under the chairmanship of the Viceremier-Minister Irina Vereshchuk. These settlements are included in two communities in Sumy region, but for the sake of information silence and guarantees of safe evacuation, their name is not published.

In total, 297 children are planned to be taken to the safe regions of Ukraine with parents and legal representatives. Ministry and staff representatives emphasize that the evacuation is free.
