A huge canopy-burdock turtle attacked the 64-year-old Russian Lydia Bazarov, who, together with her daughter, rest in Antalya, Turkey. About it reports the New York Post. The turtle grabbed the tourist by the thigh when she decided to lie on her back in the water. “I did not immediately realize what happened, but it was just creepy. I began to fight my hands, to fight, to sink, ”Bazarova said. Video of the day after this turtle again bitten the Russian woman, but already by her hand.

Then the tourist's cries heard the rescuer: he helped her to reflect from the turtle, so that the woman managed to sail ashore. She later learned that the rescuer broke her hand during this "duel". The victims were taken to the hospital. Doctors found hematoma and traces of bites on her body. According to Bazarova, she survived a real nightmare and now does not know if she will risk swimming again in the sea.
