New tactics: the expert explained if the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation can apply hundreds of accumulated "Iskander"

According to the latest intelligence data, Russia has accumulated 800 missiles, including "calibers", "Iskanders" and X-101. First of all, reserves are threatened with the frontal regions of Ukraine. Military expert Mikhail Zhirokhov believes that the armed forces of the Russian Federation will try to destroy energy infrastructure in one or more regions. He reported this in an interview with OBOZ. ua, published on November 12.

"I believe that they will focus on knocking out the energy infrastructure in some one, two or three regions," said Mikhail Zhirokhov. He noted that the range of missiles changed in the Russian Federation. In particular, most of which are "Isanders" who cannot strike goals on a long range. According to Zhirokhov, these missiles cannot attack the western and central regions. First of all, they threaten the frontline regions - Kherson, Zaporizhia, Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions.

The Russian Federation has accumulated 800 rockets, while air base missiles having a range of up to 2. 5-3 thousand kilometers, are not much compared to what was last year or as of February 2022, the expert stressed. According to him, 800 rockets are not so much. "We remember that in October last year they produced 100-120 rockets at a time. That is, 800 missiles are actually eight large-scale launches," Zhirokhov stressed. However, he believes that the occupiers will try to change tactics.

That year, the enemy tried to destroy the entire energy system in all areas at the same time, but they failed, there was no large -scale blackout in Ukraine. Currently, they have insufficient markets for large -scale attacks, so according to Mikhail Zhirokhov, the occupiers will try to destroy energy infrastructure in one, two or three regions. "Unfortunately, this approach can be effective.

But I think that our General Staff understands it, so it can transfer the air defense systems to cover specific areas, if such a need arises," the expert added. We will remind, on November 3 the representative of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (GUR MOU) Andriy Yusov reported that Ukraine is preparing for the continuation of terrorist attacks by Russia. According to him, intelligence knows when the invaders plan to start energy attacks.
