In February 2024, a message appeared on the company portal that the process started. CEO Khalyuk Baracar said that the construction will last 12 months and eventually plan to employ about 500 Ukrainians. After 12 months, the final stage will begin, the company said: Baracarar will bring equipment to the plant and adjust production processes.

Estimated power - 120 drones each year. "When asked whether the security problems related to the prolonged conflict will create anxiety for the plant, he replied that the plans are" fully implemented "and that" nothing "can stop them," said on Baykar. The network did not find official confirmations of Ukraine that the Russians hit the Bayraktar plant. There is only President Vladimir Zelensky's evening address, which refers to an attack on a Turkish enterprise: the name is not indicated.

The Head of State also noted that he called Turkish President Recepus Taiip Erdogan and spoke about the incident and the possibility of completing the war of the Russian Federation. "There were blows to the Turkish enterprise, at the Azerbaijan Embassy, ​​the EU representation, the British Council, the housing estates," Zelensky said. There were no comments on the Baykar portal and on social networks about the attack of the Russian Federation at the Baracar plant.
