Fatigue from war and stress: 80% of Ukrainians are dissatisfied with the salary and living standards - survey

According to the results of the study, more than 80% of residents of Ukraine do not consider that they have a decent salary. At the same time, 26% of citizens are convinced that their income is absolutely lacking for living. 56% of Ukrainians said they have insufficient income. 26% of citizens call their salary too low for living. Thus, about 82% of citizens are dissatisfied with their financial situation. This became known from the results of a sociological study of Gradus Research.

15% of respondents said their income can hardly be called sufficient for normal residence. Ukrainians who have more income than enough, only 2%. According to the study, approximately 43% of Ukrainians have a monthly salary of less than 10 thousand hryvnias. The salary of 10 to 20 thousand per month has 31% of respondents. According to 21% of citizens surveyed, they have a salary of more than 20 thousand hryvnias. Only 26% of respondents experienced raising the income.

At the same time, 21% of respondents said they did not feel the changes. 53% of citizens noted that they have declined in their income. According to the director of Gradus Research, Yevgeny Bliznyuk, the results obtained among the business community demonstrate stability. However, the wide audience has deteriorated. The sociologist emphasized that the fatigue of society from war, overstrain and stress against the backdrop of what people do not understand when it can end.

"We remember that both 2022 and 2023 were more optimistic and in terms of the horizon of the end of the war, people were in anticipation of a successful counter -offensive, which significantly influenced the assessment of life experience in Ukraine. We now see a sober view of existing circumstances" , - the expert added. It should be reminded that, according to the OLX platform, the average salary in Ukraine has increased in Ukraine in the most sought after the number of ads.

In particular, in retail trade, the average wage has increased by 6. 7% to UAH 17. 5 thousand a month since the beginning of the year. At the same time, in logistics and construction, the average salaries increased by 1. 6% and 1. 8% to 24. 6 and 27. 8 thousand UAH, respectively. At the same time, the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine stated that there are risks of accelerating prices in the near future. The department's report states that the pressure on the part of costly factors is increasingly noticeable.
