Hacker attack on Kyivstar: what to do to the military, so that their data from getting to the Russians

According to programmers, mobile operators usually have data such as detailing calls, SMS messages, location and financial transactions. According to Kyivstar, hackers, who made a large -scale attack on December 12, did not receive personal data of subscribers. However, the Ukrainian company Griselda, which is developing a reconnaissance system for defense forces, said the Telegram that a mobile operator can usually have critical information about users, including military and volunteers.

Experts told how to protect themselves from data leakage. The post notes that these tips will be more relevant to employees, volunteers and military: in a way, if they are added in the message, if they break the old operator-all geolocation, SMS and calls will not be relevant or removed in 7-10 months. If you break the operator of the new seam card, there will be impersonal entry.

We will remind, earlier in the press service "Kyivstar" reported that as a result of attack of hackers personal data of users were not stolen. In addition, the statements about the destruction of computers and servers were also called a fake from the Russians. Earlier, the Russian Hacker group "Solnicechec" has taken responsibility for the breakdown of the system of the mobile operator "Kyivstar".
