They are slowly moving: NATO has evaluated the possibility of a new offensive of Russia in the spring - the media

According to the anonymous official of the North Atlantic Alliance, there are under -commercial and inexperienced units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which are forced to fulfill unrealistic goals imposed on them by political leadership. According to intelligence of the North Atlantic Alliance, Russia is slowly moving the front line, however, according to them, the likelihood of a large -scale offensive is doubtful in the near future.

About it writes "European Truth" with reference to the statement of NATO official. The official, acting in front of journalists in Brussels on the conditions of anonymity, noted that the last offensive actions of Russia are more tactical than strategic nature. At the same time, the armed forces of the Russian Federation still have a significant advantage in ammunition, live power and technology.

"But so far, the Russians are still lacking in ammunition and shunting units required for a successful big offensive," the official added. He also noted that the battlefield in Ukraine is operating in the disciplined and inexperienced units of the Russian Armed Forces, which are forced to fulfill unrealistic goals imposed on them by political leadership.

Taking into account these factors, NATO official doubts Russia's ability to succeed in the offensive in the spring, and considers it unlikely to carry out a significant offensive operation without a new large -scale mobilization.

We will remind, on March 31 the head of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov called the words of French President Emmanuel Macron about the threat of the offensive of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "assumption".
