Putin secretly pardoned the dozens of prisoners even before their joining the Wagner group - the media

Journalists write that the Vagnets who have finished fighting will return to the front after a few weeks at large. Russian President Vladimir Putin secretly pardoned dozens of convicts before they were sent to Ukraine in Ukraine as part of the Wagner Group. About it writes The Washington Pos T with reference to Russian human rights activists. The publication writes that Putin's decrees were issued secretly for the legal release of prisoners and in order to avoid public disclosure of their names.

In view of all, the prisoners were sent to the most dangerous areas of the front. About 20 of them returned to the Russian Federation, but they will soon return to the war. It is reported that these 20 people were able to survive half a year with Ukraine, although several hundred people from Russian prisons were taken during the first recruitment. Journalists write that according to the United States, 50,000 mercenaries from the Wagner group have now been stationed in Ukraine.

Among them are about 40,000 prisoners, the rest are volunteers who signed the contract. Russian human rights activists have reported that many convicted in violent crimes have decided to distribute weapons. Since the Nainean Service remains officially illegal in Russia, it is unclear whether there were any guarantees that the militants would receive the promised. The newspaper writes that despite the newly, freedom, prisoners are likely to return to Ukraine after a few weeks of rest.

So they all received special mobile phones, which they will call when they need to return to Ukraine again. They were promised that they would not be used as "cannon meat", but will be sent to special units for tracking sabotage groups of the Armed Forces. Earlier, Focus wrote that Putin first awarded the Wagner Group fighter, published in prison. Aica Gasparyan was sentenced to seven years in prison.
