The enemy had little success on the southern flank of the Pokrovsky direction. In general, the intensity of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Donetsk has decreased slightly, but the situation remains difficult. The Pokrovsky direction remains a priority for the Russian occupation troops. According to the DEEPSTATE monitoring group, as of September 21, the enemy advanced in the area of ​​settlements of Mykolaivka and Tsukurine of Donetsk region.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were successful in the village of Makiivka, Luhansk region. Judging by the information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, the Pokrovsky direction retains the high intensity of hostilities. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 storms of the Russian army, in particular in the areas of the front near Grodivka, Novogrodivka and Selidovo. The southern flank of the direction suffered more fierce attacks by the invaders.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation 58 times tried to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops in the area of ​​Tsukurin, Zhalan First, St. George, Mirnyk, Dalny, Oleksandrivka, Katerynivka and Konstantinovka. The hottest was near St. George's, where the enemy tried to storm 21 times.

For their part, the analyst of the Institute of War Study noted that Russian sources have declared the promotion of their troops in the northern part of Grodivka, but there is no confirmation of this information. At the same time, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian troops were able to reduce the intensity of Russian offensive operations throughout Donetsk region, but the situation remains difficult.

According to Deepstate, Russian troops advanced in the village of Makiivka in the Izium direction, but the dynamics of promotion is extremely small. Judging by the cartographic data last week, the enemy was more successful south of Makeevka - in the Nevsky area, where the advance of the Russians was more noticeable. Earlier, the analysts of the Deepstate group reported the promotion of hostile forces about four settlements in Donetsk region.
