Recommendations have been developed to perform expanded monitoring of the final use of weapons. Yuri Dzhigir, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, headed the Ukrainian delegation. He noted that careful control and special storage conditions require individual types of missiles, starting installations, UAVs and night vision devices made with the use of sensitive technologies, weapons of American production. The report says that they will check three positions.
In particular, this applies to aspects such as: a number of criteria have been established. Specialists on these grounds will give conclusions on the conditions of transmission, storage, protection and use of weapons. The purpose of such monitoring is to ensure the requirements of the US government. This applies to norms that have been set for all such armaments. American and Ukrainian specialists will carry out appropriate team checks.
The measures will be carried out on a regular basis throughout 2024. The concept of self-reporting of the final use country was initiated and signed by the Ministry of Defense on November 27, 2023. The Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense Yuri Jigir stressed that all the weapons should be sure that it is used legally. The Armed Forces undergo preparation for the use of special electronic devices and conduct inventory on arsenals, bases, warehouses throughout Ukraine.
