He said that there was an opinion that Russia would restore the ability to conduct a conventional war for 10 years.
"But I think we have returned to a period of less than 10 years through an industrial base that is currently working in Russia," Christoffersen explained. According to him, over the following years, the North Atlantic Alliance will be able to replenish its reserves, while providing assistance to Ukraine in the war, and the Norway Parliament should double the plan for defense over the next 12 years in order to adapt to threats from the Russian Federation.
